Jerid of Out There Records in Buffalo, NY
Newest Store Flyer/Poster
Every town and city needs as many record stores as humanly possible. Buffalo in Western New York is actually in the comfortable situation of boasting a good number of record stores spread throughout the city itself as well as into the suburbs. Since I reside in Buffalo since 2020 my plan is to document and to support as many of those places as possible. Out There Records is a relatively new addition to the growing number of record stores, but nevertheless a hugely important one. I discovered the store through a Facebook post and visited for the first time not long after the store opened at its original location. I was stunned by the selection of quality and hard to find reissues for several genres, but mainly punk and hardcore punk. Throughout my many visits to the store I got to know the owner Jerid quite a bit, hence it is about time I give him a shout out so that more people get to know his incredible little vinyl paradise.
